The Photostory titled ‘Sanitation and Hygiene in Primary Health Centre’ from the state of Maharashtra (India), highlights the pathetic conditions of sanitation and hygiene at the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Bhakrundi, in district Gadchiroli in the state of Maharashtra (India). The Photostory evinces that PHC was lacking in basic facilities of safe drinking water. The hygienic and sanitary conditions were pathetic. The Photostory on the sanitation and hygiene at Bhakrundi PHC was used as an evidence by community practitioners to showcase it to health service providers and were able to negotiate for the health rights.
The Photostory is prepared by COPASAH community practitioners associated with SATHI in collaboration with Amhi Amchya Arogyasathi and Apeksha Homoeo Society in Maharashtra (India).
